I have been using these for a week now and my views are as follows. I cycle about 90 minutes a day, mostly for exercise early in the morning, and I am looking for a pair of gloves to keep my hands warm and dry without being too restrictive. These gloves do this, but with one major drawback. They are not really ‘waterproof’, which to be fair the producers they do point out with couched language. This morning there was heavy rain and they were soaked after 20 minutes, which doesn’t really matter as you can take the gloves off when you come home and your hand are still warm in the sense of a diving suit keeps you warm by heating up the water. The problem with this level of wetness/dampness is that once you stop and take your gloves off to do something, it is very difficult to get them back on.On the plus side on a very cold morning with light or no rain they work fine, but to be honest what can you expect for the price? I would expect them to last a couple of years, although wear is clearly visible after only a week – see photos. So they still get 4 stars on a price/quality ratio and I do like them, but they have their small limitations. And one last thing, if you just want a pair of gloves for hiking or walking in the winter then these would do an excellent job.

These gloves are really warm with a soft fleece lining,I thought they maybe a bit to chunky for gear changing etc but no problem at all, if your looking for good quality gloves at a reasonable price I can really recommend this product.

I used them for over a year cycling at night and in the morning. So the coldest time of a day. They passed the test with flying colours. Kept my hands warm and flexible while riding my bike. No nasty frozen knuckles feeling!

I bought a medium pair of these based on the size guide. It’s fair to say my hand fit in them but the fingers and thumb were so short I couldn’t grab the handlebars (the glove got in the way of the handlebars meeting my palm) or split (spread) my fingers or thumb. Given an average review just to submit this info. Returned for refund to my Amazon account, which was received the next day.

These arrived promptly, with a little card and email address indicating that if I had any problems I should make contact with the seller, who was offering to refund or replace if I was not delighted with the item.I ordered an XL size based on the measuring chart which was shown on the product’s images; I think this was slightly over-generous, and my gloves are actually a touch too large, both in width and finger length. However I tested the ‘please contact us’ service and have been promised an exchange, which from the speed and tone of reply I have no reason to doubt will arrive shortly. Later edit: the size L did arrive a couple of days later – perfect fit!The gloves themselves appear to be well made, with a handy velcro wrist strap to keep them tight; maybe testing them in the sun wasn’t as effective as waiting for ice and snow, but I have every reason to believe they will be warm and snug when the bad weather comes! There’s the usual linking device to keep the two gloves together – helpful to stop one falling to the back of the drawer or pannier or car boot. I didn’t expect the ‘touchscreen’ fingers (just thumb and index finger on each hand) to work well, based on previous similar items – but these were actually quite sensitive and precise – even small buttons on my phone or screen were simple to hit and engage. There is a mottled ‘leopard skin’ effect which also works far better than anticipated as a non-slip surface – your hands do not lose grip on handlebars or tools. The gloves appear to be well finished – there’s double stitching around the ‘padded’ sections over the palm – these sections provide the non-slip, shock absorbing and extra warmth. Not sure what the padding is made of, but I surmise that in cold weather it will retain a degree of heat, too, keeping hands warmer for longer. All in all, these would appear to excellent gloves for the price – certainly as good, if not better, than some more expensive skiiing/cold weather gloves I had and have lost. Happy to recommend.

I’ve been using these for a couple of weeks in cold weather & they have helped quite a bit. I’m only a leisure rider so not been out in extreme weather but would recommend for general riding.

use these all the time when cycling comfortable and good protection for hand if you fall off bike which i have done and no damage to my hands when breaking fall – will buy again when needed

I bought these specifically for winter riding on an electric scooter. Since I’m often travelling at 30 MPH or more, it’s important to have gloves with are capable of handling not only cold temperatures but potentially wind and rain, but also still allow me to use the finger throttle by not being too bulky.I’ve owned a number of different pairs of gloves over the years. Many of them are either too bulky to allow me to effectively pull the throttle or they don’t keep the wind out. These are a great compromise on both points being compact while still providing plenty of warmth. The only part which tends to get cold are the very tips of the fingers. A pair of thin compression gloves (e.g. commonly used for arthritis) as the base layer may be sufficient to help with this. Overall, very good gloves.
