The Instructions should off been clearer couldn’t understand from instructions how to put handle bars in there was a metal thing blocking it and the Instructions never said to removed the metal.

I opted to go with Amazon instead of Halfords as it was on sale. However, even though the bicycle is advertised as having easy assembly, the brakes weren’t set correctly out of the box.The issue is the product is advertised as “quick connect”. This part is true. But as a total cycle assembly novice, spending a few hours on the eve of my sons birthday to mess around with bicycle brakes isn’t ideal. I may still need to get am expert to take a look OR sit down with the manual and take a proper look. Description should include better information i.e. some assembly with brakes still expected. Will be speaking to Amazon in the morning.

Good looking bike. On the pricey side and arrived damaged. The plastic cap was smashed and the metal tubing was dented. For the price paid, certainly wasn’t expecting this. As we needed to use it ASAP, we had to remove plastic and reshape the tubing with pliers. A bit fiddly to assemble but nothing difficult. The training wheels slotted in nicely.

Handlebars DO NOT click into place rendering it completely useless. I’ve had injuries trying to assemble the bike. The instructions are useless. DO NOT BUY. WASTE OF TIME/My boy has waited in anticipation since ordering yesturday, watching the postman up until 7pm tonight to go on his new bike. COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED 5 YEAR OLD AND INJURIES TO MATCH. THANKS!

I bought this bike although said it was used and was half price had to send back as handle bars were not safe ….fortunately I noticed this when putting together as it could’ve ended in disaster had I let my grandson ride it … in future I think safety checks should be made if bikes are to be sent out again ……
