My son got a scooter to use at the local skate park so needed a helmet.Researched different ones and this one was affordable and had good reviews.Some are difficult to work out sizes – I ordered a Medium size for my 10 year old son and fits great.Seems good strong construction. Already had taken a few knocks and has protected sons head great!Would recommend this helmet.Took one star off, just for how helmet adjusts for sizes. It comes with different layers of foam which you can insert/remove depending on size of head. Personally would have preferred an adjustable band or something.However, having said that, now that I have this I like it and would recommend it.Always make sure your child has a good helmet if skating/scooting. Too dangerous to take chances.

Great fit for me and feels well made. Seems a little on the heavy side compared to my old helmet but I’m happy with the quality. Shame there’s no adjustment wheel at the back.

I bought this helmet recently, but I really liked it, it does not have an adjustment for the size of the head, only for the size specifically, I have a head size of 54 cm Well, this is a small head. As an adjustment, the kit comes with foam inserts with Velcro, they are thicker, so they are suitable for even smaller head sizes. Shlnm is very good for modest money.

Probably more my fault in that I bought this after seeing a black one in the small/medium size, and liked the fact that it was a skate/BMX style helmet with a low profile. That one was a tad too small so decided to buy one in the large size in white.The shell of the large one is MUCH bigger, and though it fitted with the thickest padding installed, it did give an extreme “mushroom head,” look.To be fair, it probably isn’t a bad helmet, and good value. It just turned out to be a bit underwhelming.I gave it away, and its new owner is reasonably pleased with it as a free gift.If you were going on a city break , wanted to cycle, wanted to take your own helmet, and weren’t bothered if it got lost/damaged, it is probably a best-buy.I won’t be buying another, not for me nor anyone else.
