Having bought a new bike and made the decision to have clip in pedals I had to find the shoes to match. Unfortunately I have rather large feet and struggled through the retailer I bought the bike from. That meant trawling the internet for a reasonably priced pair of which these ticked the box.As a shoe they are a size bigger than my usual shoe size (12), and this was the general consensus as far as the best thing to do as far as fit was concerned. They are really comfortable too even though everyone said don’t expect them to be as most cycling shoes aren’t. The Velcro is a basic feature which I feel probably won’t last forever but will certainly give me an acceptable life span. The decision to opt for mtb shoes as opposed to road was definitely also a good one as they are really quite easy to walk in.By and large I didn’t have any expectations having not anything like this before and I am incredibly pleased with the quality for the money.

Firstly, these don’t come with cleats. I paid a tenner for a pair on Amazon, they were very easy to fit. The shoes fit well on the gym spinning bikes. I like the straps since they’re easy to get on and off. My only complaint really is that they look/feel a bit cheap. They are plastic after all I suppose.

Bought a pair of Boardman shoes last year but didn’t like them. Went big as recommended but they were loose. Love these shoes. I’m a 9 or 9.5 so got a 10. Snug but very comfortable.
