10 reviews for FDX Full Finger Winter Cycling Gloves

These cycling gloves are a perfect fit and incredibly comfortable. They make my rides a breeze, providing excellent grip and protection. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase, and they’re now an essential part of my cycling gear. Highly recommended for their comfort and fit!

  2. Clau

Haven’t tried the touch screen as they’re pretty thick so I’d rather use my hand directly , but they’re cosy and have high visibility at night – that’s what I wanted.

I used to have a pair of leather gloves to keep my fingers warm in winter when cycling. They didn’t work that well and I often have cold or even sore fingers after getting off my bike.I decided to buy these reflective cycling gloves as they would keep my fingers warm as well as being visible. They certain are doing the job well! The gloves are well padded and it was actually too warm in the warmer days.My fingers are no longer suffering from the cold which I am glad with this purchase.I have not yet tested the touch screen so only gave 3 stars as ‘neutral’.I like the fact that car drivers can see me when I raise my hand to indicate which way I am turning. It makes me feel safe psychologically and keep me warm physically. So I am happy with these gloves! The only thing is, they feel snuggle and a bit tight when first wearing them.Once they are stretch a bit, they will be loosen. I could go with a size smaller! But never mind, they are very comfortable.

These are very good gloves at a very reasonable price. Warm enough for normal winter months, haven’t tested in below zero yet. They offer reasonable water repellency, and the gel palms offer additional comfort on the grips. They also have very good dexterity. The hi-viz style offers great visibility in dark winter mornings and evenings. The only missing element is cuff, which would help the cold from getting in between the gloves and the end of your sleeves. I have a pair of Pearl Izumi with with elasticated cuffs and they are excellent, keeping all the cold air out. Only thing is they are red not hi-viz and are a lot more expensive than the FDX. If you are looking for a decent winter cycling glove then these FDX are a good choice. If you are listening FDX, add a semi-elastic woollen cuff to these gloves and you have a near perfect winter cycling glove.

  5. Focusfactor

Like the comfort, fit, protection from wind & light rain (not designed as waterproof) completely hi-viz especially good for those clearly to be seen at all times hand signals! Good value for money.Dislike touch screen fingertips do not work on any of 3 mobile phones past/present, the unnecessary cushion pad on top of the palm is irritating, the weak velcro fasteners which always will eventually break off, the size guide is useless I have learnt to order x2 sizes larger than my usual large size with other gloves, ie XXL instead of L (this is my 3rd purchase if these gloves)Despite some minor complaints overall I am happy with the design the very hi-viz & the cost of these windproof cycling gloves!I default to these whenever I have to renew worn out pairs.Seller always processes orders quickly and Prime delivery ensures they arrive on time!

The gloves look and feel good and they also appear well made. Other reviewers mentioned ordering a size bigger than that on the web page guide suggested….. and I’m glad I followed their advice. The guide showed that I was right in the middle of the ‘Large’ size. I ordered ‘Extra Large’ size….. and the gloves are an okay size but definitely not roomy…. and indeed I might have been better ordering 2 size bigger. The gloove’s touchscreen finger tips worked on my phone screen but not on my tablet screen.

  7. CE

All very well advertising it’s touch screen friendly, but you still have to take it off to fingerprint unlock the phone. Bit awkward to get on and off compared to standard fleece gloves. Fairly water resistant in most rain.

  8. demoose

I invested in these gloves as my previous summer gloves we falling to bits. The bright yellow look is great for other motorists but they have a negative fault, hence my low review.Because these gloves are so thick you cannot use them for anything except gripping a handlebar. I own a Brompton and I have to remove my gloves if I am to access my Ortlieb bag. The thickness of the gloves prevents you from performing the simplest of tasks.I wouldn’t recommend this product to other cyclists.

Bought to use on my 6am commute of 9 miles. They’ve only been used down to 3degrees due to an upturn in the weather. They kept my hands warm on the 30 minute ride. They are a extremely snug fit for my medium hands and care needs to be taken when removing slightly sweaty hands. The lining did stay in place but time will tell. Early days but I will update after riding in sub zero conditions. They do look top quality and with the reflective lettering a great safety aid.UPDATE21/2/2020 After using these for 20 rides here is my view on them. At feels like temperature of 1 degree they are only good for 4 miles. Index finger & thumb are starting to hurt with the cold. By 9 miles I’m glad to be at work. 9 miles in the rain are not recommended as they soak through. To their credit the lining does stay put but care is needed when removing them.I would still buy these but get a large so a liner could be worn with them.

Excellent for walking dogs / throwing balls on the beach. I need to get around to trying them on my bike!
